Love vs. sex

These two things never worked together for me. I never had love and sex at once.
But now I finally have a real boyfriend but have problems with those two things, I love him but when we have sex I have to think of someone else than him to enjoy it fully. Isnt it weird?

Has anyone experienced that too or am I the only weirdo?
